Merchandiser (Garments/Apparel Industry)
Position: Merchandiser
Location: Noida
Experience: 3 -6 Years
Industry: Garments/Apparel Manufacturing
Key Responsibilities
• Handle buyer inquiries and coordinate with domestic/international clients.
• Manage order execution from development to shipment.
• Coordinate with sampling, production, sourcing, quality, and logistics teams.
• Prepare costing sheets and negotiate prices with buyers and suppliers.
• Follow up on fabric, trims, sampling, approvals, and production timelines.
• Monitor order status and ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain buyer communication and provide regular updates.
• Ensure quality standards and customer requirements are met.
• Prepare and maintain merchandising reports, T&A calendars, and order records.
• Resolve production and shipment-related issues proactively.
Required Skills
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of garment manufacturing processes.
• Experience in fabric and trim sourcing.
• Good understanding of costing and order management.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and email correspondence.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple orders simultaneously.
• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
Qualification
• Graduate/Diploma in Fashion, Textile, Merchandising, or related field.
• Relevant experience in garment manufacturing/export house preferred.
