Job Description – Production Executive

Position Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Production Executive to manage and coordinate the day-to-day production activities for bridal blouse orders. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of garment production, strong coordination skills, and the ability to ensure orders are completed on time with the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Planning & Coordination

• Plan and coordinate daily production activities based on customer orders and delivery schedules.

• Allocate work to cutting, tailoring, embroidery, finishing, and other production teams.

• Monitor production progress and ensure orders are completed within the committed timelines.

• Prioritize urgent and wedding-related orders appropriately.

2. Order & Production Follow-up

• Review order details, measurements, design specifications, fabrics, and embroidery requirements before production.

• Coordinate with the Fashion Advisor/Customer Service team for any missing or unclear information.

• Track each order from cutting to final finishing and delivery.

• Identify production delays and take timely corrective action.

3. Team Coordination

• Coordinate with Cutting, Tailoring, Embroidery, Aari, Finishing, and Quality Control teams.

• Assign work based on priority, skill, and production requirements.

• Monitor employee productivity and daily work progress.

• Communicate production requirements clearly to the respective teams.

4. Quality & Final Inspection

• Ensure the blouse is produced according to the approved design, measurements, and customer requirements.

• Coordinate with the QC team to identify and rectify quality issues.

• Check for fitting, stitching, embroidery, finishing, and design-related issues before dispatch.

• Ensure alteration and rework requirements are completed on time.

5. Inventory & Material Coordination

• Coordinate with the stores/material team for fabrics, lining, threads, embroidery materials, and other production requirements.

• Ensure required materials are available before starting production.

• Monitor material usage and report shortages or wastage to the concerned team.

6. Customer Order & Delivery Coordination

• Coordinate with the customer service team regarding trial dates, alterations, and delivery commitments.

• Provide regular updates on order status.

• Ensure completed orders are handed over for final packing and delivery on time.

• Support the team in resolving production-related customer concerns.

7. Production Records & Reporting

• Maintain daily production records and order status reports.

• Track pending, completed, delayed, and rework orders.

• Prepare daily/weekly production reports for management.

• Maintain accurate records of production output and team performance.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of garment and bridal blouse production processes.

• Strong coordination and team management skills.

• Good understanding of cutting, stitching, embroidery, finishing, and quality processes.

• Ability to read and understand blouse designs and measurements.

• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Strong follow-up and time-management abilities.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict delivery deadlines.

• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and production tracking is preferred.

Qualification

• Diploma or Degree in Fashion Designing, Apparel Production, Garment Technology, or a related field is preferred.

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in garment production, bridal boutiques, designer blouse units, tailoring units, or apparel manufacturing.

• Candidates with strong practical experience in bridal blouse production may also be considered.

Preferred Candidate

• Experience in bridal blouse production, designer blouse units, boutiques, or ethnic wear production.

• Knowledge of Aari work, hand embroidery, machine embroidery, cutting, stitching, and finishing will be an added advantage.

• Strong ability to coordinate multiple orders and production teams.

• Willing to work on weekends and during festive/wedding seasons when required.

• Responsible, organized, proactive, and committed to meeting production deadlines.
