Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop seasonal menswear collections in line with brand identity and market

trends.

• Create mood boards, fabric swatches, sketches, and detailed technical drawings.

• Collaborate with pattern makers and sample teams to develop prototypes and ensure

proper fit and construction.

• Ensure garments reflect the intended silhouette, fit, and brand aesthetics during fittings.

• Select appropriate fabrics, trims, and materials suitable for men’s clothing.

• Coordinate with merchandising and production teams for product costing, timelines, and

delivery.

• Stay up to date with menswear fashion trends, influencers, and competitors.

• Work with marketing and visual teams to align product launches with brand campaigns.

• Conduct market and trend research, including attending fashion shows, trade fairs, and

analyzing consumer behavior.

Required Skills:

Design & Creative Skills

• Deep understanding of men’s fashion trends (formal, casual, streetwear, or sport).

• Expertise in men's garment silhouettes, cuts, and fits (e.g., slim fit, relaxed, oversized).

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), CLO 3D, or other fashion

design software.

• Knowledge of garment construction, fabric types, pattern making, and production

processes.

• Understanding of grading and sizing standards for men’s clothing.

Analytical & Business Skills

• Ability to balance creativity with commercial awareness.

• Strong research and trend forecasting ability.

• Familiarity with garment costing and budgeting.
