We are looking for a creative Fashion Designer to join our team at Tasta. The role involves designing ethnic wear collections, understanding market trends, and developing unique styles that match customer preferences. The ideal candidate should have strong design skills, creativity, and knowledge of fabrics, colors, and patterns.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design ethnic wear collections such as kurtis, lehengas, gowns, and festive outfits
• Create sketches, concepts, and design ideas as per brand theme
• Select suitable fabrics, colors, embroidery, and patterns
• Stay updated with latest fashion trends and customer preferences
• Coordinate with tailors and production team for sampling and final output
• Ensure proper fitting, finishing, and quality of garments
• Develop seasonal and festive collections
• Maintain design records and mood boards
Job Requirements:
• Minimum qualification: Diploma / Degree in Fashion Designing
• 1–6+ years experience in fashion or ethnic wear designing
• Strong creativity and design sense
• Knowledge of fabrics, patterns, and garment construction
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
