About the Role

We are looking for a creative and trend-aware Fashion Designer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for designing innovative clothing collections, researching market trends, selecting fabrics, and coordinating with production teams to bring designs to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Research current fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and market demands.

• Create original clothing designs, sketches, and mood boards.

• Develop seasonal collections for women’s/men’s/kids’ wear (as applicable).

• Coordinate with sampling and production teams for design execution.

• Select fabrics, trims, patterns, and embellishments.

• Ensure designs align with brand identity and customer preferences.

• Prepare tech packs and design specifications.

• Conduct market and competitor analysis.

• Work closely with merchandising and marketing teams.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of fashion trends and garment construction.

• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CorelDRAW.

• Creativity with strong sketching and visualization skills.

• Good understanding of fabrics, prints, and color combinations.

• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

• Attention to detail and time management skills.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Fashion Designing or related field.

• Certification from recognized fashion institutes preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in ethnic wear, western wear, streetwear, or luxury fashion (as applicable).

• Knowledge of textile sourcing and production processes.

• Portfolio showcasing previous design work.
