We are looking for an Service engineer to join our team at Veelo Mobility Private Limited. Role Overview:
The Service Engineer – Battery will play a key role in the installation, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of leased batteries. You will be the first point of contact for any technical issues reported by customers and will ensure smooth, safe, and timely resolution. Prior battery-specific expertise is not mandatory, but a technical background and willingness to undergo structured training is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose battery-related issues and perform on-site repairs or replacements as per company procedures.
Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular health checks and preventive maintenance on batteries to reduce downtime.
Customer Support: Coordinate with bike owners to schedule inspections and provide technical support in a professional manner.
Documentation: Maintain accurate service records, issue logs, and spare part usage reports.
Collaboration: Work closely with the central service team to escalate complex issues and follow through until resolution.
Basic knowledge of electrical circuits and wiring.
Ability to use basic tools and testing equipment such as: Digital/Analog Multimeter, Clamp Meter, Voltage Tester, Basic Hand Tools (screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers).
Familiarity with Windows OS and MS Office for data entry and reporting.
Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members.
Minimum qualification: ITI / Diploma / 12th Pass with Technical Background.
