Job Description – Service & Automation Engineer
We are looking for a Service Automation Engineer to join our team and handle installation, servicing, troubleshooting, and customer support for electronic weighbridges and related automation systems. The ideal candidate should have basic electrical/mechanical knowledge, a hands-on approach to problem-solving, and be willing to travel to customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
Install, commission, service, and maintain electronic weighbridges at customer sites.
Conduct regular site visits, maintenance, inspection, and servicing as required.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in weighbridge systems.
Perform fault finding, repair, calibration, and maintenance of electronic weighbridge equipment.
Provide on-site and online software support to customers.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot automation systems.
Install and service boom barriers and RFID card readers.
Integrate weighbridge automation with existing control and enterprise systems (e.g., PLC, SCADA, ERP).
Provide prompt and professional customer support and field service.
Coordinate with customers to understand service requirements and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Maintain a cordial and professional relationship with customers.
Prepare service reports and maintain records of site visits, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Follow company safety procedures and ensure quality standards are maintained during service work.
Requirements
Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel extensively for field service and customer visits.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
Preferred Skills
Diploma/ITI/Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Instrumentation, or a related field.
Experience with electronic weighbridges, automation, RFID systems, or boom barriers will be an added advantage.
Basic computer and software troubleshooting knowledge.
