Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Repair: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix problems in electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment.
Preventive Servicing: Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
Customer Interaction: Communicate with clients to understand issues, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction.
Documentation: Maintain records of service jobs, maintenance logs, and reports.
Safety & Compliance: Adhere to health, safety, and workplace standards.
Support: Train junior staff, coordinate with teams, and handle emergencies.
Common Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills: Knowledge of electrical wiring, plumbing, appliance repair, and potentially automotive systems.
Tools: Proficiency with diagnostic tools, scanners, and general hand/power tools.
Attributes: Problem-solving, self-motivation, analytical thinking, time management, and strong communication.
Education: Often an ITI or Diploma in a relevant field (Electrical, Mechanical) is preferred.
