An outdoor advertising electrician installs, maintains, and repairs electrical systems for billboards, LED displays, and illuminated hoardings. They work at heights to wire lighting, troubleshoot power issues, and manage generators. Key tasks include ensuring code-compliant, safe lighting for large-format displays. 

Core Responsibilities

·         Installation: Install LED modules, light fixtures, electrical panels, and wiring for, illuminated hoardings, and digital displays.

·         Maintenance & Repair: Perform regular inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on outdoor advertising structures to ensure uninterrupted service.

·         Site Support: Handle electrical connections, power supply issues, and maintenance of generators.

·         Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to electrical safety practices (e.g., OSHA) and national/local electrical codes.

·         Heights Work: Comfortable working at significant heights, climbing structures for installation and repairs. 

Required Skills and Qualifications

·         Experience: Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in advertising, signage, or industrial/commercial lighting.

·         Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical circuits, panels, and LED technology.

·         Physical Stamina: Ability to work outdoors, climb, and lift equipment.

·         Certification: Relevant vocational training, apprenticeship, or diploma in electrical systems. 

Job Type and Environment 

·         Full-time/Field Work: Typically, this is a full-time position involving extensive field work, including evenings or weekends for repairs.
