Job Title: Electrical Technician – Maintenance

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Technician to perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings. The candidate should have hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring the safe operation of electrical equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems.

• Troubleshoot electrical faults and restore power supply with minimum downtime.

• Maintain LT panels, DBs (Distribution Boards), MCCBs, MCBs, ELCBs, and electrical wiring.

• Inspect and maintain lighting systems, power sockets, and emergency lighting.

• Operate and monitor DG sets, transformers, UPS systems, and electrical control panels.

• Perform routine inspection of pumps, motors, and electrical equipment.

• Attend emergency electrical breakdowns on priority.

• Ensure all work is carried out according to safety standards and company procedures.

• Maintain maintenance logs, checklists, and daily reports.

• Coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance teams to complete assigned tasks.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.

• Understanding of LT panels, DG, UPS, transformers, and electrical distribution systems.

• Ability to read electrical drawings and single-line diagrams.

• Familiarity with electrical safety practices and PPE usage.

• Good problem-solving and communication skills.

• Ability to work in rotational shifts if required.

Qualification

• ITI Electrician (Mandatory)

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Preferred)

• Valid Electrical Wireman/Supervisor License (Preferred)

Experience

• 1–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance of residential, commercial, or industrial facilities.
