Position - Electrician [Tata Motors] 

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent 

Location – Balasinor, Gujarat 

Job Summary 

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Commercial Vehicle (CV) Electrician to join our service team. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in TATA Motors commercial vehicles while ensuring quality, safety, and customer satisfaction as per company standards. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in TATA Motors commercial vehicles (LCV, ICV, HCV) 

• Handle wiring harnesses, alternators, starters, batteries, ECUs, sensors, and lighting systems 

• Perform preventive maintenance checks on electrical systems 

• Use diagnostic tools and scanners to identify faults accurately 

• Attend breakdown calls and ensure timely resolution 

• Follow OEM guidelines, safety norms, and workshop SOPs 

• Maintain job cards, service reports, and repair documentation 

• Coordinate with service advisors and workshop supervisors 

• Ensure proper use and care of tools and equipment 

• Support warranty-related electrical inspections and repairs 

Required Skills & Competencies 

• Strong knowledge of CV electrical and electronic systems 

• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals 

• Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools 

• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills 

• Basic knowledge of CAN bus systems (preferred) 

• Time management and teamwork skills 

• Safety awareness and quality-focused approach 

Educational Qualifications 

• ITI / Diploma in Electrician / Auto Electrical / Automobile Engineering 

• OEM training or certification (preferred) 

Experience 

• 2–5 years of experience as a CV Electrician 

• Experience in authorized dealership workshops is an added advantage 

Working Conditions 

• Workshop and on-field service environment 

• May involve extended hours during breakdowns or peak workload
