Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, panels, switches, sockets, and lighting systems.

• Assist in preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment and machinery.

• Identify and troubleshoot electrical faults and resolve issues efficiently.

• Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to ensure proper functioning.

• Read and understand basic electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.

• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety regulations and company standards.

• Maintain records of maintenance activities and report any abnormalities.

• Support senior electricians during installation and commissioning activities.

• Keep tools, equipment, and the work area clean and organized.

• Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate PPE while performing electrical work.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and maintenance.

• Understanding of electrical components such as MCBs, MCCBs, contactors, relays, motors, and control panels.

• Ability to use electrical testing instruments such as a multimeter, clamp meter, and insulation tester.

• Basic troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Willingness to work in shifts, if required.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of industrial electrical maintenance.

• Basic understanding of PLCs, VFDs, and electrical control panels.

• Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices.

• Awareness of electrical safety standards and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
