Responsibilities

Perform routine operations & maintenance of the entire & complete internal Electrical System as installed from the point of receipt of power supply from the concerned Sub-DB or Floor-DB for the said premises occupied by the client including electric supply terminations of Sub/Floor DB’s to the interior electrification of the premises.

·         Ensure all electric rooms, electrical equipment in public areas, electrical shaft doors, meter boxes etc. are locked at all times & access is limited to authorized personnel only.

Ensure all cable & wire connections are clean & firm.

·         Ensure contacts in all breakers are clean & mechanical operation is smooth & firm.

·         Ensure battery terminals are clean & electrolyte levels are as specified and inverters/UPS’s are in perfect working condition.

·         Check all meters periodically to ensure they are functioning and show correct readings.

·         Ensure all light fittings inclusive of luminaries, lamps, ballast’s, starters, transformers, connections etc. are in proper working condition at all times and replacements are carried out promptly. Inventory to be maintained for the same

·         Maintain the earthling system to ensure earth continuity at all points in the electrical system up to the main distribution board in each area/zone and also maintain all earthling pits with necessary watering etc.

Monitor and adjusts system set points and output, thereby providing optimum comfort level and add to energy saving measures.

·         Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies and promote continuous improvement of safety and environmental practices.

·         In addition to the above-mentioned duties and job functions, any other assignments given by Management, within the purview of the contract.

Requirements

• ITI/ Diploma in Electrical;

• Proven experience of at least 04 years in Operations & Maintenance of Electrical Plant & Machinery;
