Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Factory Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and equipment in our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure that all electrical installations comply with current safety standards and minimize operational downtime through proactive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Maintenance: Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair plant machinery, automated production lines, motors, and control panels.

• Preventative Maintenance: Perform scheduled checks on electrical systems, transformers, and switchgear to prevent unexpected equipment failures.

• Installation & Upgrades: Install new electrical wiring, conduits, and equipment according to industrial blueprints, schematics, and local electrical codes.

• Fault Diagnostics: Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other testing devices to quickly identify electrical malfunctions and implement effective solutions.

• Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA/factory safety protocols, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Minimum 0.6 to 1 years of hands-on experience as an industrial or factory electrician.

• Education: High school diploma followed by completion of an electrician apprenticeship, trade school certification, or degree in Electrical Technology.

• Licensing: Valid state or national electrical license/certification.

• Technical Knowledge: Strong proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) troubleshooting.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to work in varied industrial environments, lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work at heights or in confined spaces when necessary.
