Job Description – Electrician

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Electrician to join our manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining electrical systems, troubleshooting machine-related electrical faults, and ensuring smooth day-to-day production operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and troubleshoot day-to-day electrical faults in manufacturing machines.

- Perform regular inspection and basic preventive maintenance of machines and electrical systems.

- Diagnose and repair electrical issues to minimize machine downtime.

- Handle and maintain electrical control panels.

- Have practical knowledge of Star-Delta starters and connections.

- Check motors, wiring, switches, contactors, relays, and other electrical components.

- Respond promptly to machine breakdowns and carry out necessary repairs.

- Coordinate with the production team to resolve electrical issues.

- Ensure electrical equipment and systems are maintained safely and properly.

- Maintain basic records of electrical faults, repairs, and maintenance activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as an Electrician, preferably in a manufacturing/industrial environment.

- Strong practical knowledge of electrical panels.

- Good understanding of Star-Delta starters.

- Ability to troubleshoot and repair machine electrical faults.

- Basic knowledge of motors, contactors, relays, wiring, and electrical components.

- Ability to work independently and respond quickly to machine breakdowns.

- Good coordination and communication skills.

- Male candidate preferred/required for the role due to the nature of the manufacturing-floor responsibilities.

Compensation

₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.

Working Environment

This is an on-site manufacturing role involving regular coordination with the production team and hands-on work with machines and electrical systems.
