Job Title: Solar Electrician

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in solar energy systems, electrical installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance. You will work on residential, commercial, and/or industrial solar projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant electrical work that supports high-quality solar installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission solar PV systems (rooftop or ground-mounted).

• Perform electrical wiring, conduit bending, inverter installation, and system grounding.

• Conduct maintenance, inspections, and repairs on existing solar systems.

• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, including wiring faults, inverter errors, and system underperformance.

• Ensure compliance with NEC, local electrical codes, and safety standards.

• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and installation teams to complete projects on schedule.

• Complete documentation including test reports, commissioning checklists, and service logs.

• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment.

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma / Certification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (as applicable).

• Licensed Electrician (preferred or as required by local regulations).

• Experience with solar PV systems (rooftop, on-grid/off-grid, hybrid, batteries, inverters).

• Knowledge of electrical codes, safety procedures, and PV system components.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments.
