We are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled professional to join our team in a field-based technical role involving circuit board repair, equipment servicing, and on-site client support. The ideal candidate should be willing to work in field conditions, possess basic to advanced electronics knowledge, and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
Roles
The primary role involves extensive field work, where the employee will be required to travel to various client locations for installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance activities. The role also includes circuit board repair, where the candidate will diagnose faults, identify defective components, and carry out repairs using appropriate tools and testing equipment. The candidate is expected to handle electronic components with care and ensure repairs meet quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
The key responsibility of this position is repairing and servicing equipment. This includes troubleshooting electronic systems, replacing faulty components, testing repaired units, and ensuring proper functioning before handover. The employee must maintain accurate service records, document faults and corrective actions, and follow standard operating procedures during repairs.
Another important responsibility is visiting client sites for service and support. The candidate will interact directly with clients, understand their issues, and provide timely technical solutions. Professional conduct, clear communication, and customer-oriented behavior are essential. The employee must ensure minimal downtime for client equipment and maintain a high level of service quality.
The role also requires coordinating with internal teams for spare parts, technical guidance, and reporting completed work. Adhering to safety protocols during field visits and repair activities is mandatory. The candidate should be capable of working independently as well as in a team environment, managing time efficiently to meet service deadlines.
Requirements
Candidates must possess any degree, preferably in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related technical field. However, Diploma or ITI graduates with relevant hands-on experience in circuit board repair and field service will also be considered. Basic knowledge of electronic components, soldering, testing instruments, and fault analysis is essential.
The candidate should be physically fit for field work and willing to travel as required. Good communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn are important qualities for this role. Prior experience in equipment servicing, electronics repair, or customer support will be an added advantage but is not mandatory.
