Job Description: Electrician

Job Title: Electrician
Location: Okhla Phase 2, New Delhi
Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month
Experience: 1–3 years (Freshers with basic knowledge can also apply)
Job Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities:

• Installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, switches, sockets, and panels

• Reading and understanding electrical drawings and layouts

• Troubleshooting electrical faults and ensuring safe operation

• Working on commercial/industrial electrical systems

• Following safety rules and electrical standards

• Coordinating with supervisors and site engineers

• Maintaining tools and electrical equipment

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of basic electrical systems and wiring

• Ability to use electrical tools and testing equipment

• Understanding of safety procedures

• Basic knowledge of electrical drawings

• Added advantage: Ability to understand or create simple 3D electrical layouts

Qualification:

• ITI / Diploma in Electrician or equivalent

• Relevant hands-on experience preferred

How an Electrician Can Use 3D Design Skills

3D design skills are useful for planning and visualizing electrical work before actual installation.

Common 3D Design Tools:

• AutoCAD (2D & 3D) – Electrical layouts and wiring plans

• SketchUp – Simple 3D room and conduit visualization

• Revit (basic level) – Electrical routing in buildings

How 3D Design Helps:

• Create 3D layouts of wiring, conduits, switchboards, and panels

• Understand exact placement of electrical points in buildings

• Reduce mistakes during installation

• Help clients and supervisors visualize the final setup

• Improve coordination with architects and engineers

Basic Steps:

1. Create a room/building layout in 2D

2. Convert it into a 3D model

3. Add electrical points (lights, switches, sockets, DBs)

4. Plan conduit and cable routing

5. Review and correct before site work
