Job Description – ITI Electrician

Position: ITI Electrician
Department: Engineering / Maintenance
Qualification: ITI – Electrician
Experience: 5–9 years
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of machines and equipment.

• Identify and rectify electrical faults in a timely manner.

• Handle electrical wiring, panels, motors, switches, sensors, and control systems.

• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.

• Inspect electrical equipment regularly to ensure safe and reliable operation.

• Maintain records of electrical maintenance and breakdown activities.

• Follow electrical safety procedures and company safety guidelines.

• Assist senior technicians and engineers during maintenance and installation work.

• Ensure proper use and maintenance of electrical tools and equipment.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of electrical wiring and basic electrical systems.

• Knowledge of motors, control panels, MCBs, contactors, relays, and electrical components.

• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in shifts, if required.

• Good understanding of workplace safety practices.

Eligibility

• ITI certificate in the Electrician trade from a recognised institute.

• Candidates with relevant industrial maintenance experience will be preferred.
