We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to execute electrical installation works for commercial, retail, office, banking, hospitality, and residential interior fit-out and turnkey projects. The candidate should be proficient in interpreting electrical drawings, installing electrical systems, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and applicable electrical standards.
Key Responsibilities
Execute electrical installation works as per approved drawings and project specifications.
Perform conduit laying (PVC/GI), cable tray installation, cable pulling, cable dressing, and cable termination.
Install and connect electrical panels, DBs (Distribution Boards), MCBs, RCCBs, isolators, switches, sockets, and other electrical accessories.
Install lighting fixtures, ceiling lights, decorative lights, emergency lights, fans, exhaust fans, and power outlets.
Carry out wiring for lighting, power, UPS, HVAC, networking, CCTV, access control, fire alarm, and other low-voltage systems as required.
Read and interpret electrical layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and shop drawings.
Conduct continuity, insulation resistance, polarity, and functional testing before commissioning.
Coordinate with civil, HVAC, plumbing, false ceiling, and interior finishing teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Identify electrical faults and carry out troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
Ensure all installations comply with relevant electrical codes, safety regulations, and client specifications.
Maintain tools, equipment, and electrical materials in good working condition.
Report daily work progress, material requirements, and site issues to the Site Engineer or Project Manager.
Support testing, commissioning, snag rectification, and final project handover.
Required Skills
Sound knowledge of electrical wiring systems and installation practices.
Ability to read electrical drawings and layouts.
Experience in conduit work, cable laying, cable termination, and panel connections.
Knowledge of electrical safety standards and safe work practices.
Familiarity with testing instruments such as multimeters, clamp meters, insulation testers (Megger), and continuity testers.
Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults independently.
Good teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
Qualification
ITI (Electrician) or Diploma / Graduate in Electrical Engineering.
Preferred Knowledge
Distribution Boards (DB), LT Panels, Earthing and Lightning Protection.
Fire Alarm Systems.
CCTV and Access Control Systems.
Data & Voice Cabling.
UPS and Inverter Systems.
Electrical Testing and Commissioning.
