The Electrician will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting all electrical systems, machinery wiring, and plant utilities to ensure smooth production operations.
Install, repair, and maintain electrical panels, wiring, and circuits.
Troubleshoot electrical issues in machines, motors, sensors, switches, and control panels.
Perform preventive maintenance of electrical equipment.
Handle three-phase wiring, earthing, and load balancing.
Operate and maintain transformers, MCC panels, distribution boards.
Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and electrical standards.
Attend breakdown calls and fix issues within minimal downtime.
Maintain maintenance records and daily reporting.
Strong knowledge of industrial wiring and electrical components.
Ability to read electrical drawings.
Expertise in motor control, relays, contactors, VFDs, sensors.
Basic knowledge of PLC panel connection (added advantage).
Problem-solving mindset and attention to safety.
ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical.
License wireman certification (preferred but optional).
Responsible for preventive and breakdown maintenance of machinery, mechanical parts, and production equipment to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
Perform maintenance and repair of mechanical components like bearings, belts, gears, shafts, chains, and couplings.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues in machines and production equipment.
Conduct preventive maintenance as per schedules.
Assist in machine installation, alignment, and calibration.
Lubrication, tightening, and replacement of spare parts.
Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems is beneficial.
Coordinate with electrical team for combined issues (electro-mechanical).
Maintain maintenance logs and machine history records.
