Their role involves distributing and connecting electrical equipment to power sources, including lighting, receptacles, motors, heating equipment, and control systems within facilities such as office buildings, factories, chemical plants, and hospitals.Key duties of a commercial wireman include:

Installing new wiring and repairing old wiring systems.Installing receptacles, lighting systems, and fixtures.
Planning and installing conduit or raceway systems that house wires.
Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems.
Establishing temporary and permanent power distribution within projects.
Installing service wiring to buildings and electrical controls for equipment like motors and HVAC.
