Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Commercial Driver to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles to transport goods/materials to designated locations while ensuring timely delivery and adherence to all traffic and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate company-assigned commercial vehicles (e.g., light/heavy vehicles, trucks, delivery vans) safely and responsibly.

• Load, transport, and deliver goods or materials as per assigned routes and schedules.

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness.

• Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery schedules.

• Ensure proper handling and documentation of goods during transit.

• Adhere to all traffic rules, company policies, and safety procedures.

• Report any mechanical issues, accidents, or delays to the supervisor immediately.

• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the assigned vehicle.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum 10th pass or equivalent.

• Valid Commercial Driving License (LMV/HMV) issued by RTO.

• Minimum 2–5 years of driving experience with a clean driving record.

• Good knowledge of Pune city routes and surrounding areas.

• Ability to read and follow maps, delivery instructions, and safety guidelines.

• Physically fit and able to lift/load materials if required.

• Punctual, disciplined, and reliable.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience driving company/commercial vehicles in logistics, FMCG, or manufacturing sectors.

• Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance.

• Customer service orientation and professional communication skills.
