Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Heavy Vehicle Driver to join our operations team. You will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods, materials, or personnel using heavy commercial vehicles. Key Responsibilities
Safe Operation: Drive heavy vehicles (Trucks, Tankers, or Dumpers) over short or long distances in compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Check fuel, oil, tires, brakes, and lights to ensure the vehicle is in top working condition.
Logbook Management: Maintain accurate records of working hours, mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery schedules.
Loading & Unloading: Oversee the secure loading of cargo to prevent damage and ensure weight distribution is within legal limits. Assist with unloading where required.
Route Planning: Plan efficient routes using GPS or standard maps to ensure on-time deliveries while avoiding restricted roads or heavy traffic.
