Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and digitally savvy Social Media Executive with proven experience in e-commerce marketing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing brand presence across social media platforms, executing campaigns that drive traffic and engagement, and supporting online sales growth through effective content and product visibility strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management
Plan, create, and schedule engaging content across platforms: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.
Monitor trends, hashtags, and algorithm changes to optimize reach and engagement.
Respond to comments, messages, and customer inquiries promptly to maintain strong community engagement.
E-commerce Integration & Support
Collaborate with the e-commerce team to promote products across marketplaces like Amazon, Flipkart, and company website.
Create social campaigns around product launches, discounts, and seasonal promotions.
Track and optimize content that drives product views, conversions, and sales.
Content Coordination
Work with designers and video editors to develop social-first creatives, reels, and stories.
Write catchy and brand-aligned captions, product descriptions, and ad copy.
Analytics & Reporting
Monitor performance using tools like Meta Business Suite, Instagram Insights, Google Analytics, etc.
Generate weekly/monthly performance reports and suggest improvements.
Track ROI for social campaigns linked to e-commerce KPIs (CTR, CPC, Conversion Rate).
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Media, or related field.
2+ years of hands-on experience in social media and e-commerce marketing.
Strong understanding of major platforms (Instagram, Meta Ads, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).
Familiarity with e-commerce platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, or marketplace panels.
Knowledge of basic design tools (Canva, Photoshop) and content scheduling platforms (Buffer, Hootsuite, Later, etc.).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferred Skills:
Experience running paid ads on Facebook/Instagram.
Understanding of SEO, UTM tagging, and influencer collaboration.
Awareness of performance marketing and affiliate campaigns is a plus.
