SEO Intern

Role Overview

We're hiring an SEO Intern to work directly with our SEO team on real client and internal projects across local SEO and affiliate. You'll get hands-on training by actually doing the work, not reading blog posts about it. If you want to walk out of this internship with execution skills that most SEOs take 2 years to build, this is the role.

Key Responsibilities:

● Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis using Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Google Search Console

● Build websites and landing pages using AI tools and frameworks ( WordPress), with HTML/CSS edits where needed

● Optimize on-page content, meta tags, schema markup, internal linking, and site structure

● Execute foundational backlinks: business citations, web 2.0 properties, directory submissions, social profile creation, and forum/community placements

● Monitor site performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and rank trackers

● Identify and document technical SEO issues (crawlability, indexation, site speed, Core Web Vitals)

● Stay current on algorithm updates, AI Overviews, behavior, and ranking shifts

Must Have

● Digital Marketing Course

● Better if you have a live website designed by you.

● Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals (on-page, off-page, technical)

● Working knowledge of at least one tool from this list: Google Search Console, Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush

● Strong written English

● Reliable internet and workstation

● Ability to follow SOPs and document work clearly

Nice to Have

● Basic HTML/CSS (enough to edit page elements, fix layout, adjust schema)

● Hands-on experience creating foundational backlinks (citations, web 2.0s, social bookmarks, profile creation, forum links)

● Familiarity with WordPress

● Working use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude) for content workflows

● Prior project or internship work in SEO, content, or digital marketing
