JOB DESCRIPTION – DELIVERY HELPER

Salary: [17000 to 20000]

Role Overview
Support the delivery team in safely loading, transporting, delivering and collecting furniture, appliances and other rental products.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload products carefully to prevent damage.

• Assist the driver in locating delivery addresses and coordinating with customers.

• Carry and place products at the customer’s designated location using safe handling practices.

• Support authorised technicians with furniture assembly, dismantling and installation, as instructed.

• Assist with product pickups, returns and exchanges.

• Check product quantities and visible condition during loading, delivery and collection; report shortages or damage promptly.

• Support delivery acknowledgments and update the team on completed or delayed deliveries.

• Maintain professional behaviour at customer premises and follow warehouse, vehicle and safety procedures.

Candidate Requirements

• Preferably 10th pass; relevant delivery or warehouse experience is an advantage.

• Ability to safely perform manual handling tasks with appropriate equipment and team support.

• Basic communication skills in the local language; Hindi is an advantage.

• Punctual, reliable and comfortable travelling within the assigned delivery area.

• Willingness to work scheduled shifts and weekends, as required.

Working Hours / Weekly Off: As per the assigned roster.
