A Delivery Boy is responsible for picking up and delivering packages, food, or other items to customers safely and on time. The role requires good communication skills, knowledge of local routes, and a customer-friendly attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
Pick up and deliver orders to customers promptly.
Ensure the correct items are delivered in good condition.
Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules.
Collect payments, if required, and provide receipts.
Maintain delivery records and update delivery status.
Follow traffic rules and safety guidelines.
Keep the delivery vehicle clean and in good working condition.
Provide courteous and professional customer service.
Requirements:
High school education or equivalent.
Valid driving license (for bike or scooter, if required).
Good knowledge of local roads and routes.
Basic communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed.
Physically fit to carry and deliver packages.
