Job Description – Delivery Boy

Position: Delivery Boy
Location: Bhubaneswar, Odisha
Employment Type: Full-Time/ Part-Time

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and responsible Delivery Boy to deliver food orders safely and on time to customers. The candidate should be familiar with Bhubaneswar routes, have good communication skills, and maintain professional behaviour with customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick up food orders from the kitchen and verify items before dispatch.

• Deliver orders to customers accurately and within the committed time.

• Handle food packages carefully to maintain quality and presentation.

• Collect cash/online payment when required and maintain accurate records.

• Follow assigned delivery routes and use Google Maps/navigation effectively.

• Coordinate with the kitchen and operations team regarding order status.

• Communicate politely with customers and resolve basic delivery-related issues.

• Maintain cleanliness and proper hygiene while handling food.

• Take care of the delivery vehicle and report any maintenance issues.

• Return cash, delivery documents, or other items to the office as required.

• Follow company policies, food-safety practices, and traffic regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum qualification: 10th pass preferred.

• Valid two-wheeler driving licence.

• Own two-wheeler preferred.

• Smartphone with Google Maps/navigation.

• Basic knowledge of Bhubaneswar and nearby areas.

• Good communication and customer-service skills.

• Punctual, honest, disciplined, and responsible.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including lunch/dinner shifts.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in food delivery, courier, restaurant, or logistics is preferred.

• Freshers with good driving and communication skills may also apply.
