Delivery Boy

A delivery executive transports goods or documents from a central hub to residential or business addresses. They are responsible for navigating routes, verifying recipients, and ensuring orders arrive safely and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliveries: Transport a variety of items (parcels, food, documents) to various locations within a scheduled timeframe.

• Navigation: Plan the most efficient travel routes using GPS tools while adapting to real-time traffic patterns.

• Customer Service: Verify recipient details, obtain signatures, and handle customer queries or complaints professionally.

• Payment Collection: Collect and accurately record cash or digital payments for Cash on Delivery (COD) orders.

• Package Handling: Safely load, unload, and handle packages to prevent damage.

• Record Keeping: Update delivery statuses on company systems in real time and maintain daily delivery logs.

• Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure the delivery vehicle (bike, scooter, or van) is fueled, cleaned, and regularly maintained.

Job Requirements

• Licensing: Valid driver's license (or relevant license for the vehicle used) and a clean driving record.

• Knowledge: Familiarity with local routes, streets, and landmarks.

• Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy cargo, climb stairs, and spend extended periods on the road.

• Soft Skills: Strong time-management, punctuality, and excellent communication skills.

Working Conditions

• Environment: Requires working outdoors in various weather conditions (rain, heat, etc.).
