Service Manager

The Service Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the automobile service department. This includes ensuring high-quality vehicle repairs and maintenance, delivering excellent customer service, achieving revenue and profitability targets, managing technicians and service advisors, and maintaining compliance with manufacturer standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Service Operations

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily workshop operations.

• Ensure timely and high-quality vehicle servicing and repairs.

• Monitor workshop productivity, efficiency, and turnaround time.

• Ensure adherence to manufacturer service processes and quality standards.

• Maintain workshop equipment, tools, and facilities.

Customer Service

• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the service experience.

• Resolve customer complaints and escalated service issues promptly.

• Build long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business.

• Monitor customer feedback and implement improvement initiatives.

Team Management

• Lead, motivate, and supervise service advisors, technicians, workshop supervisors, and support staff.

• Conduct regular training and performance evaluations.

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety policies and procedures.

• Foster teamwork and continuous improvement.

Business Performance

• Achieve service revenue, labor sales, and profitability targets.

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as labor productivity, efficiency, first-time fix rate, and customer satisfaction.

• Control departmental expenses and optimize resource utilization.

• Promote value-added services and after-sales products.
