Role Summary
The Service & Sales Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring seamless coordination between customers, the
service team, and the sales department. This position is responsible for managing customer service requests, scheduling maintenance and breakdown support for diesel generators, assisting the sales team with quotations and order processing, and ensuring timely communication and follow-ups with clients.
The role requires strong organizational and communication skills to track service activities, coordinate field technicians, maintain accurate records, and support the sales cycle from inquiry to order closure. The coordinator will also monitor preventive maintenance schedules, AMC contracts, spare parts availability, and customer service performance to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
By acting as the central point of coordination between internal teams and customers, the Service & Sales Coordinator helps improve operational efficiency, ensure prompt service delivery, support revenue generation, and strengthen long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Service Coordination
Receive and log customer service requests for diesel generators.
Schedule service visits with field technicians and service engineers.
Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules for AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) customers.
Track service job status and ensure timely completion.
Maintain service records, job cards, and service reports.
Follow up with customers after service completion for feedback.
Receive, record, and acknowledge customer service requests for diesel generator breakdowns, maintenance, and technical support.
Register service complaints in the service management system and assign job numbers for tracking.
Schedule and coordinate service engineers/technicians for breakdown service, preventive maintenance, and installation support.
Plan and monitor Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules for all customers under AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract).
