Sales Executive

💍 Core Responsibilities

🛍️ 1. Customer Handling & Sales

• Welcome customers into the showroom

• Understand their needs (wedding, daily wear, investment)

• Show gold jewellery (rings, chains, bangles, etc.)

• Explain designs, purity (22K/24K), and pricing

• Convince and close the sale

📊 2. Product Knowledge

• Know about:

  • Gold purity (22K, 24K, hallmark)

  • Making charges & wastage

  • Current gold rates (daily updates)

• Explain differences clearly to customers

💰 3. Billing & Pricing Support

• Calculate total price:

  • Gold rate × weight

  • making charges

  • GST

• Coordinate with billing team

• Ensure transparency (very important in jewellery)

🔐 4. Trust & Relationship Building

• Build long-term customer relationships

• Handle high-value buyers carefully

• Maintain honesty (trust is everything in gold business)

📦 5. Inventory & Display

• Arrange jewellery display neatly

• Keep track of stock (pieces sold / available)

• Ensure safety of items

🎯 6. Target Achievement

• Meet daily/monthly sales targets

• Upsell (suggest matching items)

• Promote offers, schemes, festive discounts

🧾 7. Documentation & Compliance

• Follow KYC norms for big purchases

• Maintain sales records

• Follow store policies (especially for gold transactions)
