Job Title: Solar Sales Executive / Solar Sales Consultant
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Solar Sales Executive to promote and sell solar energy solutions to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, sales experience, and a passion for renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and generate new leads through field visits, referrals, and digital platforms
Educate customers about solar energy solutions, benefits, and cost savings
Conduct site visits and assess customer requirements
Prepare and present customized solar proposals and quotations
Close sales deals and achieve monthly/quarterly targets
Coordinate with technical and installation teams for smooth project execution
Maintain relationships with existing customers for referrals and repeat business
Stay updated on government policies, subsidies, and solar market trends
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
1–5 years of sales experience (solar/renewable energy experience is a plus)
Strong negotiation and closing skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Basic technical understanding of solar systems (training can be provided)
Ability to work in field sales and travel locally
Self-motivated and target-oriented
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in B2B or B2C sales
Knowledge of solar financing options and government incentives
Familiarity with CRM tools
