Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Coordinator with experience in logistics and transport operations. The candidate will support the sales team in business development, client coordination, rate negotiations, and multi-branch coordination to ensure smooth execution of transport services. The role requires flexibility to travel across India along with the Director for business meetings and deal closures.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Support & Coordination
Coordinate with clients for freight inquiries, quotations, and rate approvals.
Prepare and share quotations, proposals, and contracts.
Follow up on pending offers and convert inquiries into confirmed business.
Maintain customer database and prepare sales MIS reports.
2. Client Relationship Management
Act as a bridge between clients and operations team.
Ensure timely vehicle placement as per client requirements.
Resolve client queries related to dispatch, delivery, billing, and documentation.
Build and maintain long-term business relationships.
3. Business Development
Identify new clients and generate leads in logistics and transport sector.
Coordinate meetings and presentations with prospective clients.
Support in tender participation and contract finalization.
Assist the Director in negotiations and closing high-value deals.
4. Operational & Branch Coordination
Coordinate with fleet and operations teams for vehicle availability.
Monitor dispatch status and ensure smooth consignment movement.
Work closely with multiple branches for Pan India operations.
5. Travel & Deal Closure
Must be willing to travel Pan India as required.
Accompany the Director to different branches and client locations for business meetings.
Support in finalizing and closing business deals on-site.
6. Reporting & Documentation
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports.
Track revenue targets and collections follow-ups.
Ensure proper documentation for billing and compliance.
Required Qualifications:
Graduate in any discipline (MBA – Marketing preferred).
2–5 years of experience in logistics/transport sales coordination.
Strong knowledge of freight rates and transport documentation.
Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and email communication.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
