JOB DESCRIPTION – SALES COORDINATOR

Position: Sales Coordinator – Sintex Tanks, Pipes & Fittings

Location: Oragadam, Chennai
Salary: ₹17,000 – ₹20,000 per month
Experience: 0–2 years preferred
Joining: Immediate Joiner Preferred

About the Role

We are looking for a responsible and proactive Sales Coordinator to manage the complete order cycle for Sintex Water Tanks, Pipes & Fittings — from understanding customer requirements, coordinating dispatch, delivery and ensuring prompt outstanding collection.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable coordinating with customers, the sales team, warehouse, accounts and transporters and should have a good understanding of basic accounts and dispatch processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and record customer requirements accurately.

• Coordinate with customers regarding product availability, pricing, quantity and delivery requirements.

• Prepare and process customer orders and ensure timely execution.

• Coordinate with the warehouse/stores team for stock availability and order preparation.

• Coordinate dispatch and delivery with transporters and drivers.

• Track deliveries and keep customers updated on delivery status.

• Ensure proper documentation for invoices, delivery challans, e-way bills and dispatch records.

• Follow up with customers for payments and outstanding amounts and ensure collections are made on time.

• Maintain customer-wise outstanding and payment follow-up records.

• Coordinate with the Accounts team regarding invoices, receipts, credit notes and payment status.

• Handle customer queries and resolve order, delivery and payment-related issues promptly.

• Maintain proper records of orders, dispatches, deliveries and collections.

• Follow up on pending orders and ensure there is no unnecessary delay.

• Support the sales team in day-to-day customer coordination and order management.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of Sales Coordination and Order Processing.

• Basic knowledge of Accounts, Invoicing, Payments and Outstanding Collection.

• Basic understanding of Dispatch, Delivery and Logistics coordination.

• Good follow-up and communication skills.

• Ability to coordinate with customers, warehouse, accounts and transporters.

• Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic computer operations.

• Should be organised, responsible and able to handle multiple orders simultaneously.

• Knowledge of Sintex Tanks, Pipes & Fittings will be an added advantage.

Eligibility

• Education: Any Graduate / Diploma preferred.

• Experience: 0–2 years in Sales Coordination, Sales Support, Order Processing, Distribution or similar role.

• Two-wheeler and valid driving licence – Mandatory.

• Location: Candidate should be residing in and around Oragadam.

• Joining: Immediate joiner preferred.

• Should be willing to take ownership of the complete order-to-delivery and collection process.

What We Expect

We are looking for someone who takes responsibility until the order is delivered, invoiced and the payment is collected.

A candidate with strong follow-up skills, customer-handling ability and practical knowledge of accounts, dispatch and delivery operations will be preferred.

Salary: ₹17,000 – ₹20,000 per month, based on experience and capability.
