Role Overview

As a Perfume & Skincare Consultant Intern, you will help customers discover the right perfumes and skincare products based on their preferences, personality, skin concerns, and lifestyle.

This role combines luxury consultation, customer engagement, relationship management, and brand experience.

The internship is designed for students interested in luxury retail, beauty consulting, branding, customer psychology, and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

• Interact with customers through calls, WhatsApp, Instagram, and other communication channels

• Understand customer preferences and provide personalised perfume/skincare recommendations

• Deliver a premium luxury consultation experience

• Guide customers in selecting suitable fragrances and skincare routines

• Build long-term customer relationships and encourage repeat purchases

• Handle customer queries professionally and empathetically

• Maintain customer interaction records and follow-up communication

• Coordinate with the marketing & operations team for customer engagement activities

• Represent the brand’s luxury positioning in every interaction

Training Phase (15 Days)

The initial 15-day training program is designed to help interns understand the luxury beauty industry, customer psychology, communication standards, and consultation techniques followed at Etherea Essentia.

This phase focuses on practical learning, product understanding, and real customer interaction preparation.

Training Modules

1. Brand & Industry Understanding

• Introduction to luxury perfume & skincare industry

• Understanding Etherea Essentia’s brand philosophy

• In-Depth knowledge of fragrance families, perfume notes & skincare categories

• Understanding luxury customer expectations

2. Product Knowledge Training

• Detailed understanding of perfumes & skincare portfolio

• Ingredient awareness & benefits

• Product positioning & customer suitability

• Learning consultation-based selling approach

3. Customer Communication Training

• Professional communication etiquette

• WhatsApp & call handling training

• Understanding customer psychology

• Objection handling & confidence building

• Relationship-building techniques

4. Consultation & Recommendation Training

• Understanding customer preferences

• Recommending suitable perfumes/skincare routines

• Personalized consultation methods

• Upselling & retention strategies

5. CRM & Retention Training

• Maintaining customer records

• Follow-up & repeat purchase strategies

• Customer satisfaction management

• Creating premium customer experiences

6. Practical Exposure

• Mock customer interactions

• Live conversation observation

• Supervised customer handling

• Feedback & performance improvement sessions

Compensation Structure

Training Phase

• First 15 days in-office unpaid training

Internship Phase

• First 3 Months: ₹10,000 stipend + incentives

• Next 3 Months: ₹15,000 stipend + incentives

PPO Opportunity

High-performing candidates may receive:
