Job Description: Elevator Site Supervisor

Company: MBC Elevators Location: Vasai-Virar / Mumbai Region (Site-based)

Role Overview

We are looking for a disciplined and technically sound Elevator Site Supervisor to manage our field operations. The primary goal of this role is to ensure all active sites are operating safely, installation projects are delivered on time, and management receives consistent, daily progress updates. You will act as the bridge between our technical staff (installers/maintenance teams) and the main office.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Completion & Timeline Management

• Drive Project Speed: Oversee ongoing installation and modernization projects to ensure they stick to the schedule. Identify bottlenecks (missing materials, manpower issues) immediately and resolve them.

• Site Readiness: Conduct pre-installation site visits to verify civil work is ready (shaft whitewash, scaffolding, power supply) before our team arrives, preventing wasted trips.

• Quality Control: Ensure all installations meet MBC Elevators’ safety standards and technical specifications before handing over to the client.

2. Daily Reporting & Communication (Critical)

• Mandatory Daily Updates: Submit a detailed progress report at the end of every workday. This must include:

  • Status of every active site (e.g., "Rails installed at Site A," "Wiring pending at Site B").

  • Attendance log of field staff.

  • Material usage and requirements for the next day.

• Digital Reporting: Use company-designated tools (mobile apps/trackers) to upload site photos and update project status in real-time.

• Client Communication: Act as the first point of contact for clients on-site, providing them with honest updates regarding completion dates.

3. Operational Maintenance & Safety

• Routine Oversight: Conduct spot checks on maintenance sites to ensure elevators are running smoothly and our "V Series" and standard units are being maintained to high standards.

• Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols for all technicians (helmet, harness, safety shoes) and ensure zero accidents on site.

• Inventory Management: Track movement of tools and spare parts to prevent loss or theft on site.

Requirements

• Experience: Preferred in Construction Field.

• Location: Must be willing to travel extensively between sites in the Vasai-Virar and Mumbai regions.

• Skills: Strong leadership to manage technician teams, ability to read site drawings, and proficiency in using smartphones for reporting.
