🎯 Job Purpose

The Block In-Charge will act as the organization’s representative at the block level and will be responsible for implementing and coordinating women empowerment, social awareness, skill development, training, and other organizational programs in the assigned area.

📋 Key Responsibilities

1. Field Work

• Regularly visit villages and local areas within the assigned block.

• Build relationships with women, youth, families, and community members.

• Create awareness about the organization’s programs and activities.

• Identify and connect eligible beneficiaries with relevant programs.

2. Women Empowerment Activities

• Conduct awareness and women empowerment activities.

• Connect women with skill development and employment-oriented training.

• Coordinate with women’s groups and local communities.

3. Program & Training Coordination

• Support the organization in conducting training and awareness programs.

• Mobilize participants for training and community programs.

• Organize meetings, camps, workshops, and other field activities.

• Monitor the progress of ongoing activities.

4. Team Coordination

• Coordinate with field workers, volunteers, and other team members.

• Assign and monitor field-level responsibilities.

• Review the progress of assigned activities.

• Report team-related issues to the district office.

5. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports.

• Maintain basic records of beneficiaries and programs.

• Submit photographs, attendance records, and other required information.

• Follow the organization’s reporting and documentation procedures.

6. Local Coordination

• Maintain communication with Gram Panchayats, community representatives, and local organizations.

• Coordinate with relevant departments/officials whenever required.

• Maintain a professional and positive image of the organization.

🎓 Eligibility & Preferred Skills

• Interest in social work and community development.

• Ability to work in the field and travel within the assigned area.

• Good knowledge of the local area.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Basic knowledge of smartphone, WhatsApp, and digital communication.

• Previous NGO/social-sector or field coordination experience will be an advantage.
