A Customer Care Officer is responsible for providing excellent service to customers by handling inquiries, resolving complaints, and offering product or service information. The role ensures customer satisfaction and maintains strong relationships with clients.
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or in person.
Provide accurate information about products, services, and policies.
Resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Record customer interactions and update customer accounts in the system.
Escalate complex issues to the appropriate departments when needed.
Follow up with customers to ensure issues are fully resolved.
Maintain a positive and helpful attitude at all times.
Assist in improving customer service processes and procedures.
Meet performance targets related to response time, customer satisfaction, and quality.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
Good problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to handle stressful situations with patience and professionalism.
Computer proficiency (MS Office, CRM systems).
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
Customer-focused attitude and a friendly personality.
High school diploma (minimum); college degree is an advantage.
Previous customer service experience is preferred but not always required.
