The Camp Counsellor is responsible for providing guidance, awareness, and counseling to patients during eye check-up camps. The role ensures proper communication between patients and the hospital, encourages timely treatment, and supports the overall success of outreach activities.
Counsel patients at eye camps about their eye health, surgical options, and hospital facilities.
Explain the benefits, procedures, and follow-up process for cataract and other surgeries.
Maintain patient registration, referral, and follow-up records.
Motivate and guide patients for hospital visits and timely surgery.
Assist in smooth camp operations including registration, screening, and reporting.
Coordinate with the Camp Coordinator and other team members for field activities.
Ensure all referred patients are properly guided and assisted for hospital admissions.
Support in community awareness and educational activities related to eye care.
Prepare daily camp reports and submit to the Camp Coordinator.
Maintain discipline, politeness, and represent the hospital professionally in the community.
