जॉब डिस्क्रिप्शन

This role combines business analysis, product support, requirements documentation, Jira ticket preparation, testing and communication. You will help understand customer questions, product issues and internal business needs, and translate them into clear requirements, Software Requirements Specification (SRS) and functional documentation, user stories, Jira tickets and testable acceptance criteria. This is not a call-centre support role. The focus is on analysing software questions, clarifying requirements, preparing documentation and helping the small software team deliver the right solution. You will work in a small software team, together with the developer, the operations team and company leadership in India. When required, you will also communicate with end users and Netherlands-based stakeholders to clarify issues, understand requirements and support product communication. The working hours are set from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM to allow better overlap with Netherlands-based stakeholders during the working day. Because this role involves writing requirements documentation, Jira tickets, test cases and support communication in English, and may include direct communication with end users, strong professional English is essential. As part of this role, you will also learn to use Claude and simple automation approaches to improve documentation, support handling, testing and internal workflows. Prior experience with Claude or similar AI tools is not required, but curiosity and willingness to learn are important. This is a hands-on role in a small software company. We are looking for someone who is structured, accurate, communicative and comfortable working with software products. Key Responsibilities Business Analysis & Requirement Clarification • Understand customer questions, support issues and internal business requests. • Clarify what is needed before development starts. • Ask clear follow-up questions when a request, issue or requirement is incomplete. • Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria. • Help keep requirements practical, testable and realistic. • Explain business needs and product issues in a structured way to the developer and other team members. Requirements Documentation & SRS Preparation • Prepare clear requirement documentation such as Software Requirements Specification (SRS) documents, functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria. • Break down business requests into practical, developer-ready requirements. • Describe workflows, user roles, screen behaviour, validations, business rules and edge cases. • Document expected behaviour and actual behaviour for issues, bugs and change requests. • Create simple process flows, use cases or screen notes where needed. • Keep requirement documents structured, updated and easy to understand. • Ensure that Jira tickets and requirement documents match each other. • Help maintain traceability between requirements, tickets, testing and final delivery. Structos India Pvt Ltd - Jaipur, Rajasthan - Business Analyst Job Description Product Support & Issue Handling • Review incoming product questions, issues and bug reports. • Reproduce issues where possible and document the steps clearly. • Check whether an issue is a bug, user question, configuration issue or new requirement. • Assess the impact, urgency and priority of support issues, bugs and change requests before they are picked up by development. • Prepare clear Jira tickets with steps to reproduce, screenshots or screen recordings, examples, expected behaviour and actual behaviour. • Follow up on open issues with the developer, the operations team and other internal team members. • Create or update simple user instructions, release notes and internal support notes when functionality changes. • Support communication back to users or internal stakeholders when needed. Jira & Ticket Management • Create and update Jira tickets, user stories and bugs. • Add clear descriptions, priorities, labels, acceptance criteria and relevant attachments. • Keep tickets structured and understandable for the small software team. • Track progress and make sure tickets are updated when information changes. • Help keep the backlog clean and practical. Testing & Quality Support • Test completed tickets before they are marked as done. • Check whether the delivered work matches the requirement, SRS and acceptance criteria. • Prepare simple test cases or test scenarios when needed. • Report bugs or missing details clearly. • Support UAT by checking functionality and collecting feedback. • Help improve release quality by catching issues early. Communication & Follow-up • Communicate clearly and professionally in English with the developer, the operations team, other internal team members, end users and Netherlands-based stakeholders when required. • Write professional English documentation, Jira tickets, SRS sections, user stories, test cases and support replies. • Provide clear written updates on ticket status, open questions, test results and next steps. • Ask the right questions when something is unclear, incomplete or inconsistent. • Keep communication practical, accurate and to the point. • Record important decisions, open points and follow-up actions clearly. Claude & Process Automation Support • Learn and use Claude to work more efficiently in daily BA and support tasks. • Use Claude to help prepare or improve documentation, Jira tickets, test cases, summaries, user instructions and support replies. • Review Claude-assisted output carefully and make sure it is accurate, complete and suitable for the developer, internal team members or end users. • Identify repetitive support, documentation, testing or internal workflow tasks that can be improved with Claude, prompts, templates or simple automation. • Help test simple Claude-assisted or no-code solutions under guidance from company leadership or internal team members. • Support small internal automation experiments by documenting the process, testing the output and reporting what works and what does not. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field. • 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Support Executive, Application Support Executive or similar role in a software/IT company. • Experience preparing SRS, BRD, FRD, functional specifications, user stories or similar requirement documents. • Ability to write clear, structured and detailed software requirements. • Experience with software requirements, bugs, user stories and acceptance criteria. • Hands-on experience with Jira or a similar ticketing/project tool. • Basic understanding of SDLC and Agile software developmentLtd
