Admission Counsellor

We are seeking a motivated and student-focused Academic Counsellor to guide students interested in studying abroad. The role involves providing end-to-end counselling support, helping students choose suitable courses and universities, and assisting them throughout the application process. This is a remote (work-from-home) position requiring strong counselling, communication, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students and parents on study abroad options, including courses, universities, countries, and career outcomes

• Understand student profiles, academic background, and career goals to provide personalized guidance

• Assist students with university selection, applications, SOP guidance, and documentation

• Provide information on admission requirements, eligibility criteria, and deadlines

• Maintain regular follow-ups with students via phone, video calls, email, and messaging platforms

• Coordinate with internal teams and partner universities when required

• Maintain accurate student records and counselling notes in CRM or tracking systems

• Stay updated on international education trends, universities, and visa basics

• Achieve counselling targets while maintaining high service quality and ethical practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Master’s preferred)

• Prior experience in study abroad counselling or academic counselling

• Strong counselling and interpersonal skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

• Good time-management and follow-up skills

• Basic knowledge of international education systems (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Europe, etc.)

• Comfortable using video conferencing tools, CRM systems, and MS Office/Google Workspace

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with study abroad consultancies or international education firms

• Knowledge of SOP/LOR guidance and admission processes

• Target-driven mindset with a student-first approach
