Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning for all dishes.
Manage daily kitchen operations related to the South Indian section.
Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness as per company and FSSAI guidelines.
Monitor ingredient stock levels; coordinate with the purchase team for timely ordering of raw materials, spices, and perishables.
Train and guide junior cooks and helpers in food preparation techniques.
Develop new menu items or seasonal South Indian specials to enhance customer experience.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of all ingredients (FIFO method).
Control wastage and maintain cost-effective cooking practices.
Handle customer feedback and make continuous improvements in food quality.
