We are looking for a skilled and passionate Tandoor & Kebab Chef to join our culinary team. The chef will be responsible for preparing authentic tandoor and kebab dishes, ensuring high quality, consistency, and presentation. The role requires expertise in traditional cooking techniques, marination, and grilling, with a focus on delivering exceptional taste and customer satisfaction.
Prepare, cook, and present a wide variety of kebabs, tandoori breads, and other tandoor-based dishes.
Manage the tandoor oven, ensuring proper heat and consistency for optimal cooking.
Develop and maintain recipes, marinades, and spice blends for kebabs and tandoor dishes.
Monitor food quality, taste, and portion control at all times.
Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards are maintained in the kitchen.
Control inventory, minimize waste, and maintain stock of raw materials.
Train and guide junior staff in tandoor and kebab preparation techniques.
Work with the Head Chef to create new kebab and tandoor menu items.
Ensure timely preparation of dishes during service hours.
Proven experience as a Tandoor Chef / Kebab Chef in a restaurant, hotel, or catering setup.
Strong knowledge of tandoor operations, grilling techniques, and marination methods.
Ability to prepare naan, roti, kulcha, and other Indian breads in the tandoor.
Creativity in preparing different styles of kebabs (seekh, shami, galouti, reshmi, etc.).
Familiarity with kitchen safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure during peak hours.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Culinary degree/diploma preferred but not mandatory.
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in tandoor and kebab cookiing
