Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Continental Commis Chef to join our culinary team at LUPA. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in European and Italian cuisines, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing and presenting dishes with a focus on European and Italian cuisines.
Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth workflow.
Maintain consistent quality in food preparation and presentation.
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Handle mise-en-place preparation and contribute to kitchen setup before service.
Participate in menu planning and suggest innovative ideas for European/Italian dishes.
Operate and maintain kitchen equipment efficiently and safely.
Qualifications:
Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in a similar role, with expertise in European/Italian cuisine.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and as part of a team.
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and presentation styles.
