A Chinese & Tandoor Chef is responsible for preparing high-quality Chinese cuisine along with tandoor-based Indian dishes, ensuring excellent taste, presentation, and consistency while following hygiene and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of Chinese dishes such as stir-fries, noodles, rice, sauces, and appetizers
Prepare tandoor dishes including tandoori chicken, kebabs, naan, roti, and grilled vegetables
Operate and manage the tandoor oven safely and efficiently
Ensure consistency in flavor, portion size, and presentation
Prepare marinades, sauces, and spice mixes according to recipes
Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the kitchen
Manage food preparation, storage, and inventory
Assist in menu planning and development
Coordinate with kitchen staff for smooth kitchen operations
Minimize food wastage and control costs
Skills & Requirements:
Proven experience as a Chinese & Tandoor Chef
Strong knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques and tandoor operations
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Attention to detail and time management skills
Good teamwork and communication skills
