Job Title: Indian Curry Chef

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Indian Curry Chef with strong knowledge of traditional Indian cuisine. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience preparing a wide variety of authentic Indian curries using traditional spices, cooking methods, and recipes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook authentic Indian curries (veg and non-veg) such as butter chicken, dal, paneer dishes, and regional curries

• Use traditional Indian spices and techniques (tadka, slow cooking, grinding masalas)

• Maintain high standards of taste, presentation, and food quality

• Ensure kitchen hygiene and food safety standards are followed

• Assist with menu planning and ingredient selection

• Manage food preparation efficiently during busy service hours

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Indian curry chef or similar role

• Strong knowledge of Indian spices, herbs, and regional curry styles

• Ability to cook traditional Indian dishes from scratch

• Good time management and teamwork skills

• Culinary training or equivalent experience preferred

Preferred:

• Experience working in an Indian restaurant

• Knowledge of North and/or South Indian cuisine
