A Multi-Cuisine & North Indian Chef is responsible for preparing a wide variety of dishes across multiple cuisines, with a strong specialization in North Indian food. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, flavorful meals while maintaining consistency, hygiene, and efficient kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook authentic North Indian dishes such as curries, tandoor items, breads, rice, and snacks
Prepare dishes from multiple cuisines (e.g., Continental, Chinese, Mughlai, or fusion, as required by the menu)
Ensure consistency in taste, quality, portion size, and presentation
Operate and manage tandoor and other kitchen equipment safely
Prepare gravies, marinades, sauces, and spice blends
Assist in menu planning and creation of new dishes
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety
Manage food preparation, storage, and inventory control
Minimize food wastage and control kitchen costs
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely service
Skills & Requirements:
Proven experience as a Multi-Cuisine or North Indian Chef
Strong knowledge of North Indian cuisine, spices, and cooking techniques
Ability to prepare multiple cuisines with efficiency
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Creativity, attention to detail, and teamwork skills
