Job Title: Tandoor Chef

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Tandoor Chef with strong expertise in traditional Indian tandoor cooking. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating a clay tandoor oven and preparing a variety of authentic Indian breads and tandoor dishes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook tandoor items such as naan, roti, kulcha, tandoori chicken, kebabs, and paneer

• Operate and maintain the tandoor oven safely and efficiently

• Marinate meats and vegetables using traditional Indian spices and methods

• Ensure consistent taste, texture, and presentation of all dishes

• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in the kitchen

• Work closely with other kitchen staff during busy service hours

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Tandoor Chef in an Indian restaurant

• Strong knowledge of traditional Indian tandoor techniques and spices

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen

• Good teamwork and time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with North Indian cuisine

• Culinary training or equivalent practical experience
